SIOUX CENTER—The Dordt University bands will present a concert titled “Shall We Gather at the River?” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in B.J. Haan Auditorium in Sioux Center. The Campus-Community Band and Wind Symphony will perform music by Chance, De Haan, Agapkin, Boyer, Maslanka and Posthuma.   The central work for the concert is David Maslanka’s Symphony No. 9, Movement 1, based on the traditional Christian hymn, “Shall We Gather at the River?” The Wind Symphony also will perform “My Shepherd will Supply My Need,” a work by Dordt graduate Jonathan Posthuma.
