David will coach a band rehearsal of his work and meet with band directors and student composers at North Thurston High School.

Join David at Carnegie Hall to experience the world premiere of Angel of Mercy performed by The St. Olaf Band led by Dr. Timothy Mahr.

Dr. Mallory Thompson leads the California All-State High School Wind Symphony in the world premiere of California. This performance is part of the 2016 California Band Director Association Conference.

The St. Olaf Band and Dr. Timothy Mahr perform a piece of David's at St. Olaf College. This performance is part of the 2016 Minnesota Music Educators Association Midwinter Clinic.

Join David as the Dartmouth College Wind Ensemble, led by Matthew M. Marsit, performs a concert of his music. The program includes In Memoriam, Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Wind Ensemble, and Symphony No. 8. Pre-concert talk with David at 1pm.

Come see The Ohio State University Wind Symphony, led by Scott A Jones, perform a program including Symphony No. 7.

On April 12th, David visits Corvallis, OR, to work with Chris Chapman and the Oregon State Wind Ensemble in preparation for an upcoming performance at the 2016 Taiwan Band Clinic.

David returns to Oregon to coach students of the Southridge High School Band as they prepare Liberation.

David continues his Oregon travels, visiting the University of Portland, where he will work with Patrick Murphy and the University of Portland Wind Symphony as they prepare a celebration of his music, including his Clarinet Concerto, performed by Myroslava Hagen. Join us for a short lecture/Q&A at 2pm, followed by the concert at 3pm.

David takes a trip to Abilene, TX, to work with Steven Ward and the Abilene Christian University Bands in preparation for their concert on April 22.

David was a guest clinician at the 2016 Taiwan Clinic.
