The concert will feature David Maslanka’s piece “Illumination” and his later work “The Seeker”. This will mark the first public performance of “The Seeker” in Taiwan. Taking “The Seeker” as the central concept, the theme of “tracing light” will be prominent, culminating in a performance of the Copland Clarinet Concerto with Jun-Yen Lai, Associate Principal Clarinetist of the National Symphony Orchestra.
