Performance of David Maslanka’s ‘Concerto for Saxophone Quartet and Wind Ensemble’ (2012) by Kebyart Ensemble (saxophone quartet) and Barcelona Symphonic Band, conducted by José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana. The concert also includes two more pieces by Maslanka for wind ensemble: ‘Mother Earth’ (2003) and ‘Give Us This Day’ (2006).
The BMB has invited, on this occasion, the prominent Catalan saxophone quartet Kebyart Ensemble, recently named ECHO Rising Stars artist and which is quickly becoming one of the most interesting chamber ensembles on the international scene.
